Michael Raeber-Koeck, Conductor

born in Tirol/Austria, studied at Hochschule Luzern – Musik, University Mozarteum Salzburg and Tiroler Landeskonservatorium Violin, Viola and Orchestral Concucting with Prof. Sebastian Hamann, Prof. Isabel Charisius, Tito Ceccherini and Prof. Christos Kanettis. He finished his studies 2012, Master of Arts in Conducting with Prof. Ralf Weikert, performing the Firebird Suite 1919 with Philharmonic Orchestra of Russe (Bulgaria).

Besides conducting the Repertoire of Classical and Romantic Orchestral Music and Opera Michael Raeber-Koeck gained experience working with contemporary Music. He was Assistant Conductor at Salvatore Sciarrinos Operas Superflumina and La porta del legge at Nationaltheater Mannheim and conducted several debut performances of Swiss and Austrian Composers.

Artistic Director of following Orchestras: Orchester Liechtenstein-Werdenberg, Chamber Orchestra ArgeTon Zurich, Campus Orchester Lucerne (2012-2022) and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Einsiedeln.
